Investigation record

Standardized laboratory framework documenting empirical findings, challenges, and architectural decisions.

Context

Research questions, background, and goals. We assessed agronomic record integrations from cherry harvest to roast, reviewing decentralized data capture friction and its correlation with final sensory cup quality.

What was done

Tools, software versions, procedures, and timelines. Deployment of a staging testbed on INATrace v2, synchronization with Odoo ERP modules, and simulated field logging across 12 test batches between August and October 2026.

What was found

Observable results and links to evidence. A 40% drop in wet/dry weight discrepancies was achieved using batch QR tagging, though low rural connectivity requires local offline-first storage.

What's missing

Limitations, current blockers, and upcoming milestones. Interoperability with Bluetooth roasting probes remains in progress alongside pilot protocol formalization with partner farms.
