1. Universal Access Commitment
SipDolce Labs believes scientific insights regarding coffee must be universally accessible to all individuals, regardless of sensory, cognitive, physical abilities, or technical connectivity constraints.
We design and build our digital platform following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as our target engineering benchmark.
2. Honest and Verifiable Compliance Status
In keeping with our commitment to transparency, we state our current progress honestly:
- Current MVP status: This website has been built following WCAG 2.2 Level AA requirements, passing automated code verifications for color contrast, semantic structure, and full keyboard navigation.
- Non-certified in MVP stage: The website has NOT yet received a formal external accessibility audit or third-party certification. A formal accessibility evaluation is scheduled for the QA & Release sprint (S9).
3. Implemented and Verified Accessibility Measures
The following technical accessibility measures are actively maintained in our codebase:
3.1. Semantic markup and screen reader support
- Native HTML5 semantic elements (`
`, ` `, `
- Strict heading hierarchy (`H1` through `H4`) without skipped heading levels.
- ARIA landmarks and live regions (`role="status"`, `aria-live`, `aria-label`, `aria-hidden`) for dynamic form feedback.
3.2. Full keyboard navigation and visible focus rings
- Full operational access to all interactive controls and form inputs via Tab, Enter, and Space keys.
- High-contrast visual focus indicators (`:focus-visible`) that remain visible across all browsers.
- Skip links (`#contenido-principal`) allowing screen reader users to bypass header navigation.
3.3. Color contrast and readable typography
- Contrast ratios exceeding 4.5:1 for body copy and 3:1 for large typography and interactive user interface boundaries under our Coffee × Technology design tokens.
- Generous line spacing (1.6 to 1.75) and scalable typography preventing visual reading fatigue.
3.4. Descriptive text alternatives
- Meaningful alternative text (`alt`) on all documentary photographs and infographics.
- Purely decorative graphics marked with `aria-hidden="true"` to prevent auditory noise in voice synthesizers.
4. Accessibility Feedback Channel
We warmly welcome feedback from users who experience accessibility barriers, screen reader incompatibilities, or contrast difficulties. Please contact us through our outreach form for immediate review in our ongoing quality assurance cycles.
